IED @ Geneva International Motor Show 2019

There are only a few months left until the beginning of the 89th edition of the Geneva International Motor Show – which will be open for the public from the 7th to the 17th of March 2019 –  where the Istituto Europeo di Design will be present with its stand for the sixteenth consecutive year.

In May the students attending the second year of the Master in Transportation Design received the thesis brief by the excellent brand Honda, which consists in the realization of a new concept car in 1: 1 scale meant to be presented as a worldwide premiere at the Geneva Motor Show. The designers of the Japanese House, who recently visited Turin to monitor the projects of the young IED designers, have finally chosen the model they felt most in line with the given brief Honda next “fun” Driving 2025: a city car that can be used every day, smart, fun and easy to drive, which expresses the futuristic point of view developed by the young designers.

The Master’s students, who have previously worked in small groups, are now joining their skills to finalize all the details left in order to complete the model they will present in Geneva. A great conclusion of their studies in IED!
